Lorenzo Diaz

Support Lead

Lorenzo has over ten years of experience in the disability sector, beginning his career in Queensland supporting participants with complex needs. He has also worked with vulnerable populations, including young people experiencing challenging circumstances and asylum seekers on Manus Island, Papua New Guinea. These experiences have strengthened his person-centred approach and ability to support individuals with diverse and complex needs.

In addition to his professional experience, Lorenzo has volunteered as a mentor for LGBTQIA+ youth and older adults at risk of social isolation. His broad background has reinforced his commitment to delivering high-quality supports that align with NDIS principles, promoting participant choice, independence and wellbeing. Lorenzo is passionate about empowering participants to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible while receiving respectful and individualised support.

Outside of work, Lorenzo enjoys maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. As a former gymnast and contemporary dancer in Peru, he values physical wellbeing and enjoys fitness activities, reading, yoga and meditation to support balance and wellbeing in everyday life.
